TripAdvisor Award for Excellent Service

Four years ago, we were honoured and humbled to be given the #1 status in our category on TripAdvisor. After 7 years of speeding up and down the river, creating new, innovative and exciting trips for our valued passengers to experience again and again, our customers spoke out loud and clear, cementing our place in TripAdvisor's Hall of Fame. There are many cogs that make up the Thames Rockets machine, and each is just as important as the last. From Bookings Administrators to Skippers, from Fleet Support to Boarding Managers, each have their own special and vital contribution to the underpinning reason we do what we do - the customer experience. One of these cogs is the role of the guide. Thames Rockets hand pick the very best actors and stand-up comics to host on-board, each with the sole aim of ensuring that each and every passenger enjoys each and every trip to its fullest. All closet history buffs, they love nothing more than to exercise their wit and repartee on-board, meeting new people every day and entertaining to the highest calibre. Each guide has their own unique spin on London (you can meet some of the team here!), and they will guarantee to make you laugh before the fun of the speedboat ride takes place. So you can imagine how proud we were this weekend when one of our seasoned guides, David, was awarded a very special accolade from a particularly happy passenger. C9C_8YCWAAAojX9 Unbeknownst to David, he had a TripAdvisor staff member on-board the Ultimate London Adventure last Sunday. Of course, David always gives his all to every trip he hosts, and today (the warmest day of the year so far!) was no exception. thames rockets tripadvisor david pitt 3 Having ticked off another top notch tour, David was approached and awarded the TripAdvisor Badge of Excellence. Although, this is not just a badge. This is a special, exclusive token of acknowledgement from TripAdvisor in recognition of excellent service, going above and beyond and delivering - something we know all our guides do each and every time. Dave1 Of course, we didn't quite realise the rarity of these issuing's, until we checked on a certain internet auction site and spotted these badges going for £1499. We were stunned and humbled to say the least. Well done David, yet another proud moment for Thames Rockets. Check out our TripAdvisor reputation here!
